Amanda Gomez & Gina Vidal established AGV Pet Sitting & More in 2006.
They have been friends since 1998 and are avid animal lovers. Their own zoo consists of the 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 water turtles seen here.
All sitters on the AGV team are fully trained, bonded, insured, and have pets of their own.
Amanda worked in an animal shelter for one year which gave her the opportunity to interact and care for over 400 different animals. Then she became a state licensed security guard where she was the supervisor of her post and held the rank of Lieutenant.
In September 2007, she resigned in order to run the pet sitting business full time. She loves the flexibility of being her own boss and hopes to provide many years of quality at-home pet care to the community.
Gina has a long history of animal care. She started volunteering at a veterinary clinic at the age of 12 and was hired as a veterinary technician once she turned 16. She has been employed at a veterinary hospital ever since.
She worked as a veterinary technician in Flagstaff for 6 years. She now techs in the surgical department at an animal hospital in Gilbert.
She hopes to finish school and become a veterinarian herself one day.
Krysta Maas is AGV's Flagstaff manager. She worked at Macy's coffee shop for 4 years and was a manager there for 3 years.
After leaving Macy's, she worked at a veterinary hospital for 6 months before coming on board with AGV in August 2009.
She has one dog and 3 cats of her own. She is very excited to be able to finally combine her two passions: animals and business management.
Janet Woodruff manages the Northwest Phoenix branch. She joined AGV in May 2009 when the business expanded to Phoenix. She is currently working as a veterinary technician, but hopes to do pet sitting full-time once business picks up.
At home, Janet has two poodles, Angel and Sassy, and a betta fish named Gary. Her hobbies include reading, crocheting, and expanding her music listening horizon with her new husband, Jason!
Kristen Lusby came on board in August 2009 to help during holidays and other busy times of the year. She has been a veterinary techician for many years and enjoys the change of pace that comes with taking care of animals in their home rather than in the exam room.
When she's not working, Kristen loves to go hiking with her dogs, Nigel and Emma.
Lyndie Marrufo joined the AGV team in June 2009 to provide service to residents of Williams. A native of California, Lyndie grew up loving animals. She spent 32 years as a hairstylist before deciding to work in the animal care field. Her full-time job as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital has given her the opportunity to meet and work with many wonderful people and animals.
Lyndie's hobbies include making jewelry, dancing at pow-wows and being out in nature with her husband, David, and their three dogs, Pixie, Kelpie and Elf. She also has two cats named Chet and Zuni.
Kelly Reed has a lot of experience in the pet sitting field
and is backup when the other sitters need time off.
When she's not busy being a mom and running her own business, Kelly volunteers with Paw Placement of Northern Arizona .
